United States Attorney General Eric Holder calls on Minister for Law, Mr K Shanmugam

Minister for Law Mr K Shanmugam received a call by the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, on 19 July 2012. Minister and AG Holder talked about the strong ties that the US and Singapore shared. They also discussed various legal issues of mutual concern and reaffirmed their desire to enhance the existing strong legal cooperation between the US and Singapore .

As part of the visit, AG Holder was also the guest speaker at the Singapore Academy of Law Distinguished Speaker Series and delivered a lecture on “Asymmetrical Threats: Responding to Terrorism and Cybercrime while Protecting Civil Liberties”.
