Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law, K. Shanmugam visits New York and Qatar

  1. Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law, Mr K. Shanmugam will be visiting New York and Qatar from 3 Nov to 9 Nov 2010. Mr Shanmugam will be speaking at the inaugural event of the Columbia University forum series titled, A Free Press for a Global Society on 4 November on “The Role of the Media: Singapore’s Perspective”.

  2. Minister K. Shanmugam will proceed to Doha to attend the 79th INTERPOL General Assembly on 8 to 9 November. Minister K. Shanmugam will also have a series of meetings with his law and security counterparts in Qatar.

  3. Minister K. Shanmugam will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Law and Ministry of Home Affairs.
