Question
To ask the Minister for Law whether there is an update on the study to enhance the case management system by the State Courts to capture and track data on the types of harassment filed under the Protection from Harassment Act 2014, broken down into categories such as sexual and workplace harassment, online harassment and harassment by neighbours.
Written Answer:
- The specialist Protection from Harassment Court was operationalized on 1 June 2021. With this, the State Courts have also enhanced their case management system to capture and track data on the following types of harassment: (a) sexual harassment; (b) workplace harassment; (c) cyber-bullying; (d) doxxing; and (e) harassment by debt collectors, moneylenders, or creditors.
